Hi folks,
I have a question concerning taking the bike over the winter if you don't plan on
riding when it's cold. Or lousy.
Apart from taking out the battery into a warmer place I'd like to know the following things:
- do you leave the gasoline in the tank all filled up, or do you take it out? Do you drain the carb?
- do you change your oil before putting the bike to sleep or do you change it with the first
rays of sunshine in spring?
- do you leave the bike standing on the sidestand or do you use something to take both wheels off
the ground? If so, what do you use?
- do you use anything to coat and protect the hole bike with?
Lots of questions, looking forward for lots of answers and looking forward to the rally next year, hope
to see you all shiny side up and rubber side down,
Alfred
